Living Ideas to embark on regional tour after overwhelming response to NSW Parliament launch

Following its recent launch at NSW Parliament House, Living Ideas has been inundated with requests from across regional and rural Australia to bring its vision for sustainable development and urban renewal beyond the city.

The level of engagement will now form the framework for a regional tour, where Living Ideas intends to accept invitations from local councils, state representatives, and community leaders to identify potential sites and partnerships for sustainable projects in infrastructure, housing, logistics, and environmental innovation.

Living Ideas CEO, Mark Seymour, said the response since the launch has exceeded all expectations.

“The reception has been quite staggering really. Within 24 hours we have received inquiries from NSW and beyond, including Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory – and even an invitation from a neighbouring country – to pursue solutions. This has struck a chord across Australia and the region, and it demonstrates a deep hunger for collaboration on sustainable development,” Mr Seymour said.

Regional visits will give Living Ideas the opportunity to work directly with community leaders and explore ways to attract investment into projects that combine environmental sustainability, economic growth, and community renewal.

Living Ideas Chair, Rob Furolo, said the organisation’s mission is to put regional and rural Australia at the forefront of the national conversation.

“Our goal has always been to ensure that regional communities are not left behind but are in fact leading the charge in Australia’s sustainable transformation. The appetite we are seeing from councils and communities shows just how ready people are for change,” Mr Furolo said.
